I have to change the setting to something else and then again change back to the desired setting to make it work for a while before it resets to the default again.īought the MX Master 2S last week. For example, when I lose the settings, the button behind the scroll wheel reverts to the default behavior of 'mode shift' but my program still shows the action for the button as 'middle button' which is what I configured and desire, but not how the mouse behaves. When I lose the settings and open 'options' program, the program still incorrectly shows settings that aren't as expected. Un-pair and re-pair the mouse with unifying receiver.Disconnect and reconnect unifying receiver.Restarting the computer after installing.Uninstalling 'options' and reinstalling latest version 'options' as an administrator. For me, it started happening recently, from about 2 or 3 months ago. As the original poster pointed out, it worked correctly for a few months after buying the mouse. My mouse is connected to the PC using unifying receiver, not Bluetooth. Even keeping the 'options' software open isn't helping. The loss of settings does not coincide with a computer restart or mouse inactivity.
